Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (in orange) who visited Blissville yesterday, Saturday, June 2, 2018 to tour the current two homeless shelters and see the site for the third at the former Fairfield Inn.

On the corner of 49th Ave. and Van Dam — and the corner where DHS claimed incorrectly was a transportation hub for the Q, N, R and 7 subway lines in its April 2018 Fair Share Statement to site a 300-person shelter in Blissville, when those subway stations are over a mile away.
